Scott Smith is a Funding Associate at Big Think Capital, where he leverages his competitive drive and strategic mindset to help businesses secure the capital they need to grow and thrive. With both his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Johns Hopkins University, Scott brings a strong academic foundation and analytical approach to supporting clients throughout the funding process.

Outside of his professional role, Scott has a distinguished athletic background. He played Division I lacrosse at Johns Hopkins and went on to compete professionally for the Carolina Chaos in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL). His experience at the highest levels of competition has shaped his work ethic, discipline, and commitment to excellence.

Beyond finance and athletics, Scott is also an entrepreneur as the Co-Founder of BlueCrest Apparel, blending his creativity and business acumen. When he’s not working with clients or growing his ventures, you can often find him on the golf course, enjoying the challenge and focus the game demands.
