Alex Rynhoud is a Funding Manager at Big Think Capital. He began his career in the MCA space with Reliant Funding, where he built a strong foundation in alternative financing and developed a deep understanding of small business needs. Most recently, Alex expanded his experience working in Uber’s SMB division, further sharpening his ability to support and scale growing businesses. After relocating from San Diego, he has spent the past two years working in Los Angeles, continuing to grow both professionally and personally in a competitive market.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys staying active and making the most of his time outdoors, often fishing or exploring whenever he gets the chance. He also has a strong athletic background, having played rugby at UC Davis while earning his degree. Family is an important part of his life, and he has traveled to South Africa approximately 15 times to visit loved ones, giving him a unique global perspective and appreciation for different cultures.
